As foretold, we come now to our update on Tiberian Dawn’s status. Don’t fret, my friends: this is not an announcement of the mod’s demise. The team is still alive, and the truth is, we are very busy—busy with real life, for the most part. School, jobs—you name it, we’re doing it—so progress on the mod has, unfortunately, been slow.
That is not to say we’ve been totally inert these last few months; far from it, in fact. Waraddict has been busy coding a new game mode as well as a new user interface, the Recon Bike has been finished and is now available for viewing here, and a few other items to announce.
First, on our little art competition, I have some good news all around. While we’ve received only one entry in the three-plus weeks since we announced the contest, it certainly met all the conditions we set, so we’re going to award Tyler "Tbguy1992" Bugg with his free copy of C&C4.
However, we’re still left with three C&C4 codes to give away, so we’re going to extend the contest for additional entries. The new deadline is June 21st, the summer solstice. That should give everyone time to come up with some great artwork. If you need to review the terms and conditions, look no further than here.
With summer coming up, you should be seeing plenty of regular progress as the team’s schedules shift from cages of responsibility into idyllic green plains of freedom. For now, simply join us in celebrating the mod’s three-year anniversary, and in welcoming the next year of the mod’s development. Expect lots of infantry, a few surprises, and as always, keep offering your support as we move ever closer to our release.
Tiberian Dawn Anniversary Contest 3 April 2010 by General Aurum
Attention Commanders; this is a priority transmission. With the anniversary of our mod swiftly approaching, wed like to announce a certain competition. What sort of competition, you ask? Why, one that will test the boundaries of your creativity. Thats right: this will be an art competition.
Heres the lowdown. Using whatever tools you wish, create a picture keeping with one of the following themes:

Your favorite moment from the original C&Cbe it a GDI assault, a Nod infiltration, a battle, or another moment in the overall storyawesomeness is a must.

Propaganda for GDI or Nodsuch as posters, pictures, or even advertisementswith an emphasis on in-universe accuracy. Make it seem as though your creations come straight from the First Tiberium War.
The entries will be judged based on technical skill and overall appeal. The top two from each category will find their place in the final mod, and their creators will find their names emblazoned in shiny glory in the mods credits. In addition, the victors will each find themselves the proud owner of a free digital download copy of C&C4. Heck, if we like your work enough, we may even offer you a position on the team!
How do you enter? Simple. Just email your submissions in .jpeg format to "duuude007@live.com" by 12:00 AM EST on April 23. As soon as we notice them in the inbox, they'll be posted on the CNC Source forums for all to see. The winners will be announced on the 25th, alongside a new update on the mod's progress.
You have your mission, Commanders, now enjoy yourselves and get to it!
Brothers, Sisters, and all those who join us beneath the light of this glorious New Year! This is a day of shattered silence! We have been laboring long in the shadows, quietly preparing our forces for the right moment to strike, and now, that moment is nigh. Join us, Brothers and Sisters, as we begin the overture to our glorious symphony!
These first few notes are the heralds of a fast-approaching Dawn. Embrace them, revel in them, and look to the bright future that awaits us all. Then take up your arms, and rise together as we move to claim our rightful place among the great icons of our age. Congregate at this location and give your support to our most noble endeavor, and as always, remain vigilant for further news.
Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful 23 October 2009 by lazy6pyro
The update press continues along here at Tiberian Dawn, and in this round we venture to hallowed ground. Yes, we are bowing before the altar of Kane's Temple, the Temple of Nod. We've got a nice sampling of it below.
If your faith is strong enough, check out our update for further information along with enlarged versions of these ingame teasers. From God, to Kane, to the Tiberian Dawn team.
Grilled By The Reticule 16 October 2009 by Nyerguds
Our old friend Evo, who used to have the P.R. position I'm now so shamelessly taking over, has graced us with his presence. While he was at it, he dumped a bunch of questions on us, for an interview for The Reticule, the gaming website he writes for.
The results can be read here. This interview won't hold many revelations for those who have been following the mod closely, but the Gunboat screenshots are pretty nifty, anyway.
